- What if you could swap tips with other brides? Join us for our next Bridal Brunch on Saturday 16th May 🪩 you can find all the details in our bio 🫶 (p.s this isn’t exclusive to brides, everyone is welcome!) So, what do brides wish they knew before their wedding??? - You need more buffer time than you think! There’s so much within the day, it’s inevitable something will over run. Save the stress and factor in a little more time. - You won’t sweat the small stuff. Table linen has a crease? Wrong song version? You’ll barely notice once you’re in the moment with your nearest and dearest. - Someone needs to be in charge. If it’s you, you can’t relax. Choose one of your wedding party or family member to be the ‘go to’ person for your venue and suppliers. - Comfort matters! Tight shoes, a dress you can’t sit in - you’ll feel it a few hours in. Comfort is key. - Dedicate a day to planning. Wedding Wednesdays? - So, what’s the difference between a wedding planner and a venue coordinator? Wedding Planner = works for you - Plans your wedding from start to finish - Manages your budget and sources suppliers - Brings your vision, style and overall look to life - Coordinates suppliers and guests on the day Venue Coordinator = works with you (and for the venue) - Oversees all venue operations - Manages the set-up of your ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening turnaround - Coordinates in-house teams (chefs, bar, front of house) - Helps shape your timeline and keep the day running smoothly (At The Post, we also help coordinate your suppliers and guests!) Do you need both? If you’d love support with design, budgeting and sourcing suppliers, a planner can be a great addition. But if you’re happy to take the lead on those elements, we’ll be right by your side supporting you throughout the planning journey and ensuring everything runs seamlessly on the day here at The Post (and as Hollie said, happy to help with cake tasting! 🤪🍰) Leave us any questions in the comments and the girls will answer 🫶
